According to ancient folklore, King Karandeva of Patan was very much tormented by the ghost of Babar. King Harpaldev and Shakit Mata saved the king of Patan from the torture of Babar Bhoot and subdued him. According to the promise given by King Karandeva, Harpaldev and Shakit Mata built 2300 villages in one night. In which the first pylon was built by Todal of Patdi. And before dawn, the last pylon was built by Dighdia village. Thus he was called the owner of 2300 villages... Shakitdevi was Pratap Singh Solanki's inexhaustible power, fearless and enthusiastic daughter. Shakitdevi was an accurate example of how a powerful woman can become the ruler of the world on her own. In AD 1090, Mahakrami Harpaldev established the Jhalavansh in Patdi. And Harpaldev and Shakitdevi, two mighty souls met on the land o
f Patdi.
At the time when King Karan Solanki was ruling in Patan, Shaktidevi incarnated in the house of his brother Pratap Singh. Shaktidevi's childhood name was Bisantidevi. As he grew older, he started coming for them. But Bisantidevi used to drive away the guests who came to see her by assuming the form of a tiger or a lion. Hence his parents were worried about his marriage. Shakti reassured his father that he would tell him in advance if he remained calm... Here King Karan was heavily tormented by Babara Bhoot. Knowing the pain of Raja Karan, Harpaldev promises him that he will free him from this pain. As determined that night, as soon as Raja Karan went to Ranivas, Babara tied him up and put him aside. Harpaldev challenged Babar and wrestled with him.
Karan Solanki was happy to Harpaldev and asked for a promise. Harpaldev asked him to give as many villages as the towers of the village can be built in one night. King Karan Solanki agreed. Harpaldev built pylons in 2300 villages in one night with the help of Shakit Mata and Babar Bhoot. 500 villages were given back to Karan Solanki in cloth and 1800 villages were taken and the state was established in Patdi.
